Following a change in the assessment criteria for increased provision of Cash Access Services, Ilfracombe Town Council applied again to Link Scheme Holdings for an assessment to address what is viewed locally as a lack of cash services available for both personal and business use in Ilfracombe.
The outcome of this assessment from Link was as follows:
We are sorry but we are not recommending the provision of any new cash access services in Ilfracombe at this time. This is because our assessment shows there are already cash access services and facilities within a 1-mile radius which are suitable for the needs of the local area.
Ilfracombe Town Council will continue to monitor the assessment criteria and any local asset changes that may affect the outcome of any future assessment requests.
