Ilfracombe Town Council currently has a vacancy for a Councillor in its East Ward, which will be filled through the process of co-option.
Co-opted Councillors have the same rights and responsibilities as those elected through the voting process.
Councillors are expected to attend the monthly Council meetings as well as possibly serving on a sub-committee.
This role is diverse and provides an opportunity for local residents to contribute their skills and experience to support and enhance the Council’s work for the benefit of the town.
