I was kindly asked to be the guest speaker at the Ilfracombe Probus meeting.
I had a 30 minute slot to introduce myself as this year’s Mayor and give an overview of my history and how I came to be Mayor of this great town of ours.
I also gave an overview of the different responsibilities and deliverables of the three levels of council, namely town, district and county.
This was followed by a question and answer session. It was another great opportunity to showcase the town council achievements and answer some very interesting questions.
