Our values haven’t changed. We’ll continue to recognise and acknowledge the amazing people, organisations and businesses that make Ilfracombe so special.
Same Great Awards – New Name – Stronger Community Focus
So, do you know of somebody in the community who deserves a special thank you for the work they do?
Are there any unsung heroes or heroines worthy of recognition for an act of kindness, generosity or courage, or for consistently putting others ahead of themselves?
What about someone that has made a valuable contribution to his or her school or family, or a business that encourages community development or a shop owner that has improved the image of the town?
We know they are out there and Ilfracombe Town Council want to acknowledge them!
Ways to nominate
Pick up a nomination form from the Ilfracombe Centre and either:
- Post it to Community Awards 2026, The Ilfracombe Centre, 44 High Street, Ilfracombe, EX34 9QB.
- Hand into the staff in the reception of The Ilfracombe Centre.

The cut off date for all nominations is Wednesday 16th September
The winners will be announced later this year.
The Ilfracombe Community Award presentations will take place at The Carlton Hotel Ilfracombe on Thursday 15th October. 6pm for canopies with the ceremony itself starting at 6:45pm
