With the Devon County Council elections having taken place last week we would like to thank all the candidates for taking the time to put themselves forward as potential representatives for Ilfracombe.

Ilfracombe Town Council would also like to say an additional thank you to Cllr Paul Crabb.

On behalf of everyone at Ilfracombe Town Council, thank you for the many years you’ve served our community as our representative on Devon County Council.

Throughout your time in office, you’ve worked incredibly hard on behalf of Ilfracombe — often behind the scenes, often against the odds — and always with the town’s best interests at heart. Your knowledge, dedication and willingness to get stuck in have made a real difference locally, and that hasn’t gone unnoticed.

While your time at County has come to an end, we’re really glad that you’re still continuing your work for the town through your roles on both the District and Town Councils. We look forward to carrying on that work together.

We would also like to congratulate Cllr Sara Wilson on her election to Devon County Council.

On behalf of Ilfracombe Town Council, we would like to extend our warmest congratulations on your recent election to Devon County Council as the representative for Ilfracombe.

Your election is a reflection of the confidence the community has placed in your ability to represent their interests and to be a strong advocate for our town at the county level. We look forward to working collaboratively with you to support the residents of Ilfracombe and to continue driving forward positive initiatives for our area.

The Town Council values the importance of a close and constructive relationship with our County Councillor, and we are confident that under your representation, Ilfracombe will have a passionate and effective voice in County Hall.
